President/Owner: Marcus J. Meyer, O.D.
The Consumer’s Research Council has nominated Dr. Meyer as one of “America’s Top Optometrists”. Since 1978 he has developed one the largest privately held Optometry Practices in Colorado with 13 offices.

Dr. Meyer originally established practice at 1813 N. Circle Drive in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He has personally arranged and supervised the establishment of each office location including 5 laboratories from its original inception to completion. ABBA Eye Care presently maintains 7 offices in Colorado Springs, 2 in Pueblo, and 1 each in La Junta, Alamosa, Gunnison, and Pagosa Springs, Colorado respectively.

Dr. Meyer has used a philosophy of providing the finest in vision care not only with a Business Commitment, but with a Personal Commitment as well. He has developed superior capabilities in all areas of the optometric field.

A graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry in 1978, Dr. Meyer maintains membership in the Colorado Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.

Professional certifications include the American Optometric Association – Contact Lens Section and the American Optometric Association – Sports Vision Section.

Staff Optometrist: Ronald A. Plotkin, O.D.
Dr. Plotkin has been associated with ABBA Eye Care for approximately fifteen (15) years. He is recognized as one of the finest optometrists in Colorado. He has been practicing optometry in Colorado for approximately 33 years and is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association. Dr. Plotkin has an undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and is a graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry.

Staff Optometrist: Glenn N. Pierre, O.D.
A graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Pierre has been on the staff with ABBA Eye Care for ten (10) years. He has been in practice for 29 years. He is a member of:

-	The American Optometric Association
-	The Southern Colorado Optometric Association
-	Rotary International

Staff Optometrist: Dale K. Hoffmann, O.D.
Dr. Hoffmann became associated with ABBA Eye Care in 2004. He has an undergraduate degree in pre-optometry from the University of North Dakota and is a graduate of the Pacific University College of Optometry. He has practiced Optometry since 1998 and is a member of the American Optometric Society and the Contact Lens Society of America.

Staff Optometrist: Heather M. Sanner, O.D.
Dr. Sanner has practiced Optometry since 1997. She attained her undergraduate Bachelor of Science Degree from Gettysburg College. A graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, she is presently a fulltime staff primary care optometrist with ABBA Eye Care.

Staff Optometrist: Roger A. Freeman, O.D.
Dr. Freeman has practiced Optometry in southern Colorado since 1971. He joined the staff at ABBA Eye Care in 2004. He completed his undergraduate work with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University and is a graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Freeman is a member of the American Academy of Optometry.
